Jim and Ruth Wilson of Zelienople celebrated 65 years of marriage with a family dinner at the home of Mrs. Wilson's brother, Paul Bhame.

The former Ruth Bhame married Wilson on June 29, 1940, at Calvin Presbyterian Church in Zelienople.

They have a son, William Wilson of Huntington Beach, Calif. Another son, James Wilson Jr., is deceased.

They also have two grandchildren and a great-grandson.

Wilson is retired after 35 years with Prudential Insurance. He is a member of the American Legion Post 474, an honorary member of the Zelienople Fire Department and a former member of the Rotary Club and the Park Board. He was also an avid golfer until age 90.

Mrs. Wilson is a homemaker and retired jewelry clerk.

The couple belongs to Calvin Presbyterian Church, where Mrs. Wilson has served as an elder, Sunday school teacher and youth counselor.
