Keith and Mary Burtner of Butler will celebrate 65 years of marriage with a family dinner on Aug. 28.

The former Mary Greer married Burtner on Aug. 28, 1940, at the home of the bride's parents.

They have four children, Nancy Heberling of Hilton Head, S.C.; Janet Matusak of Middletown, Ohio; and Donald Burtner and Bruce Burtner, both of Butler.

They also have seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Burtner is retired from Armco, where he worked as a forgesmith.

Mrs. Burtner is a retired floral designer.

The couple belongs to First United Methodist Church in Butler, where both participate in the Asbury Sunday school class and the Merry Mature Methodists.
