Bill and Ann Rice of Evans City celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a dinner for family and friends in Evans City.

The former Ann Tripp married Rice on Aug. 20, 1955, at a Presbyterian Church in Winchester, Va.

They have three daughters, Nancy Lees, Suzanne Parsons and Sally Zamborski, all of Evans City.

They also have three grandchildren.

Rice is retired from Resolite.

Mrs. Rice is a retired registered nurse.

The couple belongs to Westminster United Presbyterian Church in Evans City.
