Virginia Cammisa of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday with a family dinner at the Historic Lafayette Building in Butler.

The former Virginia Corcetti was born Sept. 12, 1915, in Hooversville. She married Hector Cammisa on Aug. 30, 1934. He is deceased.

She has two children, Vincent Cammisa and Mary Lu Cammisa Steighner, both of Butler. She also has six grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Cammisa is a former tailor and seamstress. She enjoys cooking and volunteering, serving as a volunteer at Butler Memorial Hospital and Sunnyview Home. She is also the president of the Association of Lafayette.

A member of St. Michael the Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Butler, she is a founding member of the church's 55 and Alive club and a member of the Knights of Columbus Auxiliary.
