William and Fay Collins of Harmony celebrated 50 years of marriage in July with a family dinner at Shakespeare's Restaurant in Ellwood City.

The former Fay Bieber married Collins on July 8, 1955, at Zion Lutheran Church in Middle Lancaster.

They have three children, Cindy Gilliland and David Collins, both of Harmony, and Raymond Collins of Evans City.

They also have four grandchildren and a great-granddaughter.

Collins is retired from LTV in Aliquippa, where he was a steelworker. He is a member of the Masonic Lodge 429 and enjoys hunting and fishing.

Mrs. Collins is a homemaker and a former employee of Violas in Evans City. She enjoys bowling.

The couple belongs to Zion Lutheran Church.
