Irene Wagoner of Butler, celebrated her 80th birthday with an open house Sunday at the Unionville Grange Hall.

The former Irene Grossman was born Oct. 10, 1925, in Slippery Rock. She married Robert Wagner on May 7, 1946. He is deceased.

She has two children, Diana Dickey and Donald Wagoner, both of Butler. She also has four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wagoner is retired from Butler Memorial Hospital, where she worked as a nurse's aide. She belongs to Unionville Presbyterian Church, the Unionville Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and the Unionville Grange.
