Dorcas Spence of Lansdale celebrated her 90th birthday recently.

The former Dorcas Erb was born Sept. 17, 1915, in Pittsburgh. She married Herbert Spence. He is deceased.

She has three children, Dorothy Spence Frederick of Lansdale; Karen Spence of China Township, Mich.; and Kathy Spence-Ferro of Valley, Wash. She also has four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Spence is a retired school teacher.
