Paul and Ann Kemery of Connoquenessing celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a surprise celebration given by their daughters at The Atrium in Prospect.

The former Ann Spurk married Kemery on Oct. 17, 1945, in Kittanning.

They have four children, Robert Kemery of Burlison, Tenn.; Douglas Kemery of Kingwood, Texas; Cindy Cypher of Butler; and Linda Carr of Renfrew.

They also have 10 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Kemery is retired. He was employed at CSX until 1987 and at Castle Rubber from 1988 to 1998. He attends White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Kemery retired from Butler Memorial Hospital in 1991 after 28 years. She is a member of White Oak Springs Presbyterian Church.

The couple enjoys camping and traveling.
