Carl Boltz Jr. of Concordia Lutheran Haven in Cabot, celebrates his 90th birthday today.

He was born Jan. 17, 1916, in Pittsburgh. Boltz and his wife Leota Boltz were united in marriage on Jan. 20, 1940.

He has three children, Robert Boltz of Atlanta; Richard Boltz of Dripping Springs, Texas; and Jean Johnson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla. He also has eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Boltz is a retired pattern maker with the Mesta Machine Company in West Homestead.

He belongs to St. Luke’s Lutheran Church in Cabot.
