Catherine Shultz of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday with a party for family and friends recently at the Butler YWCA.

The former Catherine Sinz was born Nov. 3, 1915, in Butler. She married John Shultz. He is deceased.

She has two daughters, Jacquelyn Chiprean and Barbara Thomas, both of Butler. She also has six grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Shultz is a former employee of the Loblaw supermarket in Butler.
