Hoehn, 95th birthday
Mary Hoehn of New Haven Court in Zelienople, formerly of Butler, celebrated her 95th birthday recently with family and friends. A dinner was held at the Marriott Hotel in Cranberry Township. A birthday party was also held at St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Butler, following the baptism of her 12th great-grandchild.
The former Mary Rieger was born Jan. 19, 1911, in Clearfield Township. She married Albert Hoehn on Jan. 23, 1935. He is deceased.
She has two children, the Rev. Richard Hoehn of Adelphi, Md., and Ruth Hoehn Stoyer of Florida. She also has eight grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Hoehn retired in 1976 after working in the Butler School District for 40 years. She enjoys volunteering and is active in community groups and activities at New Haven Court. She also enjoys playing cards.
She is a lifelong member of St. Mark's Evangelical Lutheran Church and an associate member of Seaman Memorial Evangelical Lutheran Church.
