Clayton and Bernadette Geibel

Clayton and Bernadette Geibel of Butler will celebrate 50 years of marriage on Friday. A family dinner is planned in their honor.

The former Bernadette George married Geibel on April 14, 1956 at St. John Roman Catholic Church in Coylesville.

They have five children, Tracey Brockman, Cindy Green and Scott Geibel, all of Fenelton; Casey Geibel of Brevard, N.C.; and Kelly Schultz of Butler. They also have 12 grandchildren.Geibel is a retired bricklayer with Local Union 9 in Pittsburgh. He is a member of the Happy Hunters sportsmen's club, a life member of the Roman Catholic Men's Club and a member of the East Butler Fire Hall.Mrs. Geibel is a homemaker.The couple belongs to St. Wendelin's Roman Catholic Church.
