Harold and Gerry Riemer

Harold and Gerry Riemer of Cabot celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a family gathering at their home.

The former Geraldine Miller married Riemer on May 9, 1946, at the Old Evangelical Church of Sarver, now known as the Zion United Methodist Church.

The couple has four sons: Tom Riemer of Winchester, Va.; Gary Riemer and Tim Riemer, both of Cabot; and Ben Riemer of Grove City, Ohio.They also have 13 grandchildren.Mr. Riemer is retired from PPG Research in Harmarville. He was founder of the Laura J. Doerr Park in Jefferson Township.Mrs. Riemer has been a Tupperware manager for 43 years.The Riemers belong to Zion United Methodist Church.
