Dale and Louise Kunkle of Saxonburg celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner.

The former Louise Collins married Dale Kunkle May 19, 1956, at Cabot United Methodist Church in Cabot.

They have three children, Lynne Smith and Robert Kunkle, both of Butler, and William Kunkle of Saxonburg.

They also have six grandchildren.

Kunkle is retired from PPG Industries in Harmarville.

Mrs. Kunkle is a homemaker and is retired from Saxonburg Elementary School in Saxonburg.

The couple attends Westminster Presbyterian Church in America in Butler.
