The Nulphs in 1947

Edward and Shirley Nulph of Evans City celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a luncheon given by their children at the home of their son.

The former Shirley Bowser married Nulph on Dec. 10, 1947, at the home of the bride's parents in Zelienople.

They have three children, Deborah Tarbet and Dennis Nulph, both of Evans City, and Marsha Hainey of Midlothian, Va.

They also have six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.Nulph retired in 1990 after 40 years at Armco, where he worked as a temper mill roller. He enjoys puzzles and games.Mrs. Nulph enjoys knitting, reading and baby-sitting her great-grandchildren.
