Antoszyk 55th anniversary
Walter and Evelyn Antoszyk of Butler will celebrate 55 years of marriage with a family picnic.
The former Evelyn Acquavita married Antoszyk Aug. 30, 1952, at St. John Byzantine Catholic Church in Lyndora.
They have four children, Rosemary Kriley, Marie Plyler, Stephen Antoszyk and Walter Antoszyk, all of Butler.
They also have five grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Antoszyk is a veteran of the Navy. He served on the U.S.S. Brooklyn during World War II. The former owner of Walter's Floral Shop and Landscaping, he is retired from Allegheny Ludlum Steel. Antoszyk is a member of the Saxonburg VFW, American Legion and Moose Lodge.
Mrs. Antoszyk is a former employee of the Butler Shirt Factory and Troutman Store. She was also an owner of Walter's Floral Shop.
The couple enjoys dancing, traveling and gardening. They spend their winters in Florida.
