Ray

Esther Ray of Butler celebrated her 90th birthday with a dinner party at the Butler Elks Club, attended by friends and relatives from New York, Illinois and Canada.

The former Esther Young was born Jan. 12, 1917, in Worthington. She married Arthur Garing in December 1935. He is deceased. She later married Roy Ray, who is also deceased.

She has two children, Shirley Fudoli of Butler and Delores McLaughlin of Illinois. She also has three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. One grandson is deceased.

Mrs. Ray retired from Castle Rubber after 30 years. She is a lifetime member of the Butler Women of the Moose.
