Albert

Virginia Albert of Franklin Township celebrated her 90th birthday recently with an open house at Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church and a family dinner at Fairfield Inn in Butler.

The events were attended by her friends and family members from New York, Georgia, Florida and Montana.

The former Virginia McCandless was born Jan. 16, 1917, in Butler. She married Huber Albert. He is deceased.

She has two children, Nancy Cooper of Atlanta and Rodger Albert of Syracuse, N.Y. She also has seven grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Albert is a homemaker.

She has been a member of Mount Chestnut Presbyterian Church for more than 60 years.
