Bonita and Kenneth Kriess

Kenneth and Bonita Kriess of Clintonville celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a gathering of more than 100 friends and family members in Meridian. The event was hosted by the couple's children.

The former Bonita Montgomery married Kriess on March 9, 1957, in Eau Claire.

They have three children, Kevin Kriess of Zelienople, Ken Kriess of Ellwood City and Imogene Kriess of St. Paul, Minn.

They also have four grandchildren.

Kriess is retired. He does occasional work for a contractor/excavator.

Mrs. Kriess is also retired. She currently babysits in her home.
