Concordia Lutheran Ministries Haven I resident Henrietta Maurhoff, formerly of Gibsonia, celebrated her 85th birthday recently.

The former Henrietta Auel was born April 30, 1922, in Pittsburgh. She married Elmer Maurhoff Dec. 4, 1942.

She has two children, Norma DiMartino of West Melbourne, Fla., and William Maurhoff of Valencia. She also has six grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Maurhoff is a homemaker and a member of St. Luke Lutheran Church in Cabot.

She served on Concordia's Board of Directors for more than 25 years, and was formerly the Eastern District president for the Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

Her hobbies include reading, walking and crafts.
