Hilda Lucas

Hilda Lucas, a resident at the Concordia Lutheran Ministries Lund Care Center recently celebrated her 100th birthday.

The former Hilda Kloby was born May 15, 1907.

She married George Lucas on Aug. 27, 1930, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Braddock.

The couple has two children, Alma Eggers of Penn Hills and Albert Lucas of Rochester, Mi.

She also has five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

A housewife in her younger days, Lucas came to Concordia in 2000 after living in North Braddock.

She belongs to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church Pittsburgh and enjoys television and spending time with her great- grandchildren.
