John and Helen Stamm of Slippery Rock celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a trip to Millersburg, Ohio.

The former Helen Chembars married Stamm May 16, 1957, in Library.

They have four children, Connie Scott and John Stamm, both of Grove City; Donna Plutt of Butler; and Stephen Stamm of Slippery Rock.

They also have eight grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Stamm retired from H.W. Cooper and Sons and Cooper Brothers after 40 years.

Mrs. Stamm is a homemaker.
