Forsythe

William "Willie" Forsythe of Butler celebrated his 90th birthday recently with a family cookout.

Forsythe was born May 18, 1917, in Butler.

He and his wife Viola have three children, Darlaine Thompson, Loraine Bowser and Russel Forsythe, all of Butler. They also have four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Forsythe is retired from the paint department at Pullman Standard. He enjoys flying.

He is a member of Meridian United Presbyterian Church.
