Burton and Nevada Kelly

Burton and Nevada Kelly of Slippery Rock celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at the Slippery Rock Township building.

The former Nevada Hall married Kelly on June 21, 1957, at Slippery Rock United Methodist Church in Slippery Rock.

They have three children, Burton Kelly II of Slippery Rock, Deborah Croup of New Castle and Kim Kelly of Prospect.

They also have five grandchildren.

Kelly is retired from Pullman Standard in Butler. He is also a retired from the Pennsylvania Game Commission, where he worked as a deputy.

Mrs. Kelly is a homemaker and retired housekeeping supervisor for Autumn Grove Care Center in Harrisville.

The couple belongs to Harrisville United Methodist Church in Harrisville.
