Genevieve and Joseph Swidzinski

Joseph and Genevieve Swidzinski of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage Sunday with a family dinner at the Runway Restaurant in Penn Township.

The former Genevieve Zedreck married Swidzinski June 14, 1947, in a private ceremony.

They have two children, Cheryl Galida of Fort Collins, Colo., and Janis Caton of Golden, Colo.

They also have four grandchildren.

Swidzinski is a retired contractor.

Mrs. Swidzinski is a homemaker.

The couple belongs to St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
