Furka 60th anniversary
Mary and John Furka
John and Mary Furka of Karns City celebrated 60 years of marriage recently with a family gathering at Foxburg Inn in Foxburg.
The couple was married June 14, 1947, at St. Patrick Roman Catholic Church in Bradys Bend.
They have two children, George Furka of Karns City and Patricia Coleman of California.
They also have two grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Furka retired from Witco Chemical in 1988.
Mrs. Furka is a homemaker.
