Paul and Amy Murphy

Paul and Amy Murphy of Butler celebrated 60 years of marriage Saturday with a family dinner.

Murphy married the former Amy Sarvey on June 30, 1947.

They have three children, Betty Jean Dickey and Nancy Daw, both of Butler, and Don Murphy of Sarver.

They also have three grandsons.

Murphy is retired from Armco. He is an avid fan of the Butler High School basketball team, as well as the Pittsburgh Pirates and Steelers.

Mrs. Murphy is a homemaker. She enjoys walking and baking pies.

The couple belongs to the First Baptist Church of Butler.
