Don and Darla Stewart of Bruin celebrated their 45th wedding anniversary June 23 with their family. The celebration included a weekend of golf and swimming at Treasure Lake in DuBois, followed by a family dinner at Luigi's Restaurant.

The former Darla Walker married Stewart June 23, 1962, at Martinsburg Presbyterian Church in Bruin.

They have three children, Crystal of Bruin, Angela of Butler and Andrea of Warren. They also have five grandchildren.

Stewart is retired from the safety department at Witco.

Mrs. Stewart is retired from the Karns City School District, where she worked as a teacher.
