McDonough 50th anniversary
Bob and Millie McDonough of Valencia celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a family dinner at Penn Glade Lions Park.
The former Amelia Simque married McDonough June 1, 1957, at St. Anselm Roman Catholic Church in Swissvale.
They have four children, Lane McDonough of Natick, Mass.; Lee McDonough of Raleigh, N.C.; Larry McDonough of Valencia; and Luke McDonough of Gibsonia.
They also have six grandchildren.
McDonough is retired from the Pine Richland School District, where he worked as a teacher. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and the Butler Notables.Mrs. McDonough is a homemaker. She belongs to the Cranberry Civic Chorale and a card club. She enjoys line dancing.The couple belongs to Holy Sepulcher Roman Catholic Church in Middlesex Township, where both are active in the church choir.
