Ben and Rita Hastings of Cranberry Township celebrated 35 years of marriage with a family dinner Sunday at Hereford and Hops in Cranberry Township.

The former Rita Barr married Hastings Aug. 5, 1972, at Christ Lutheran Church in Millvale.

They have two sons, Ben Hastings Jr. and Kirk Hastings, both of Cranberry Township.

Hastings is retired. He belongs to the Elks Club.

Mrs. Hastings works as a merchandise processor for American Eagle Outfitters.
