Burr

Elsie Burr of Evans City will celebrate her 90th birthday with an open house Sunday at St. John's United Church of Christ, 501 E. Main St., Evans City.

The former Elsie Bauder was born Aug. 28, 1917, in Muddy Creek Township. She married John Burr June 8, 1938. He is deceased.

She has three children, Tim Burr of Portersville, Judy Smith of Butler and Jeanne Graham of Evans City. She also has seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Burr is retired from the cafeteria at Evans City Elementary School.

She is a member of St. John's United Church of Christ.
