Craig 50th anniversary
Eugene "Pud" and Shirley Craig of Chicora celebrated 50 years of marriage recently with a dinner for family and friends at the Chicora Fire Hall. The event was hosted by their children and their spouses.
The former Shirley Neff married Craig Sept. 14, 1957, at St. Wendelin Roman Catholic Church.
They have four children, David Craig, Jeffery Craig and Darin Craig, all of Chicora, and Debbie Callihan of Karns City.
They also have eight grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Craig is retired from Armco Steel, where he was employed for 38 years. He is a lifetime member of the Chicora Moose and Chicora Volunteer Fire Department and belongs to the American Legion Post 488, Forest County Vets Club and the National Rifle Association. He is an avid hunter.Mrs. Craig retired from the Karns City School District after 25 years. She belongs to Mater Dolorosa Roman Catholic Church in Chicora. She enjoys bowling and volunteering at her church.
