Breckenridge

Elvesta Breckenridge of Cranberry Township will celebrate her 99th birthday with a family dinner Sunday at Sieman's Lakeview Manor in Somerset.

The former Elvesta Reiser was born Oct. 14, 1908.

She has a son, David Breckenridge of Rockwood. Another son, Robert Breckenridge, is deceased.

She also has five grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

Known as the "Fudge Lady," Mrs. Breckenridge used to run a fudge stand on Freedom Road in Cranberry Township. She also worked as a rural mail carrier.

She is a member of St. John's Lutheran Church.
