Clair Atkinson of Saxonburg will celebrate his 80th birthday with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. March 2 at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Hannahstown Road, Cabot.

Atkinson was born Feb. 23, 1928, in Butler. He married Doris Nicol on Oct. 14, 1950.

He has two children, Dennis Atkinson of Pittsburgh and Donna Atkinson of Butler. He also has two grandchildren.

Atkinson is a retired driver. He belongs to St. Luke's Lutheran Church, the Saxonburg Fire Company and Fire Police.
