Robert Johnston of Renfrew will celebrate his 80th birthday Saturday with a family dinner at his home.

Johnston was born March 15, 1928, in Butler. He married Gene Johnston on June 18, 1948.

He has a son, Richard Johnston of Greensburg. He also has two granddaughters.

Johnston is retired from the Sprint Telephone Company. He now works part time for the BARTbus service. He belongs to Park United Presbyterian Church in Zelienople.
