June Sherry

June Sherry celebrated her 90th birthday June 8 with a family lunch at Conley Resort.

The former June Rugh was born June 4, 1918, in Eddyville, Armstrong County. She married William Sherry on Sept. 28, 1938. He is deceased.

She has three children, Richard Sherry of Oak Island, N.C., and Saundra Sloniger and Bill Sherry, both of Butler.

Sherry also has 12 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Sherry belongs to the First United Methodist Church. She enjoys reading, crocheting and taking care of others.
