Rasely 60th anniversary
Wilbert and Mary Rasely of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage with a Mass at 6 p.m. tonight at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church, 128 N. McKean St. A cake and ice cream open house will follow from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at the home of their son Wilbert "Bub," 237 Green Manor Drive.
Rasely married the former Mary Shuler on June 24, 1948, at St. Paul Roman Catholic Church.
They have five children, M. Stephanie Hook, Wilbert Rasely Jr., Roberta "Sue" Zanicky, James Rasely and Cheryl Cobern.They also have nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.Rasely has owned W.C. Rasely Resellers Inc. for more than 60 years. He enjoys collecting antique cars and model trains.Mrs. Rasely has been a homemaker and has been involved in the family business.The couple enjoys dining out and socializing with friends and family.
