The Krileys in 1953

Adrian "A.J." and Patricia Kriley of Butler celebrated 55 years of marriage with a family dinner Aug. 21 at the Hardwood Cafe.

Kriley married the former Patricia Markham on Aug. 21, 1953, at Enon Church in Webb, Ala.

They have three children, Phillip Kriley of Renfrew, Darla Helms of Columbia, S.C., and Mark Kriley of Butler.

They also have three grandchildren and four step-grandchildren.

Kriley is retired from Armco Steel.

Mrs. Kriley is the owner and operator of the Step-Back-in-Time Bed and Breakfast, Tea Room and Antiques.

The couple are members of St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
