Paving on Main Street through Butler is scheduled to start May 16 and run through July 29.

The work will be done between Monday evenings starting at 6:30 and Friday mornings at 7:30.The road will be paved from the General Butler Bridge to Penn Street.

Two lanes of traffic — one each way — will be open to the public at all times.

Except for Jefferson and Cunningham streets, all side roads in the construction zone will be closed during construction hours.

Also during work hours, there will be no on-street parking, and any vehicles parked in work zones will be towed at the owner's expense.

Flaggers and police officers will control intersections if needed.
