Ruth L. Grimm

Ruth L. Grimm, 90, of Myrtle Street in Emlenton, died at 6:34 p.m. Wednesday at UPMC Northwest, Seneca, shortly after her arrival.

Born May 7, 1915, in Emlenton, she was the daughter of Melvin and Blanch Wiser Edinger.

She was a 1933 alumna of Emlenton High School and was a graduate of Duff Business College, Pittsburgh.

Mrs. Grimm had worked at the Sterling Oil Division of the Quaker State Corp. in Emlenton.

She was a member of the Emlenton United Methodist Church and the Emlenton Area Over-55 Club.

Surviving are a son, Robert A. Grimm of Boardman, Ohio; two granddaughters; and two great-grandchildren. A number of nieces and nephews also survive.

Her husband, Robert J. Grimm, whom she married Aug. 26, 1939, in St. Petersburg, Clarion County, died Sept. 8, 2003. She also was preceded in death by three sisters and three brothers.

GRIMM - Friends of Ruth L. Grimm, who died Wednesday, June 8, 2005, will be received from 6 to 9 p.m. today at HILE FUNERAL HOME, 1204 Kerr Ave., Emlenton. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home with her church pastor, the Rev. Kenneth Duffee, officiating. Burial will be at Crawford Memorial Cemetery, Emlenton.
