Beverly and Robert Byers

Robert and Beverly Byers of Karns City celebrated 60 years of marriage Dec. 5 with a family dinner at their home.

Byers married the former Beverly Lane on Dec. 4, 1948, in Queenstown.

They have three children, David Byers of Kissimmee, Fla., Daniel Byers of Erie and Michael Byers of Karns City.

They also have four grandchildren.

Byers is retired from Pullman Standard, where he worked as a welder. Mrs. Byers worked as a registered nurse at Butler Memorial Hospital and Butler County Community College.

The Byers belong to Karns City United Methodist Church. They also attend Trinity United Methodist Church in De Land, Fla., where they reside for part of the year.
