Dorothy Smith

Dorothy Smith of Tavares, Fla., formerly of Hilliards, celebrated her 95th birthday with a birthday dinner at Disney World Epcot and a weeklong trip with her sister to San Francisco.

The former Dorothy Shaffer was born Dec. 10, 1913, in Boyers. She married John Smith on June 28, 1941. He is deceased.

She has one daughter, Judy Miller of De Land, Fla. Her daughter, Phyllis Ford, is deceased. She also has one grandson.

Mrs. Smith is retired from teaching in the Moniteau School District. She enjoys Florida's warm weather, her friends and bingo. She is a member of the St. Alphonsus Roman Catholic Church in Murrinsville.
