Verda and Harry Texter

Harry and Verda Texter of Parker celebrated 60 years of marriage Feb. 11.

Texter married the former Verda Gray Feb. 11, 1949, in Petrolia.

They have two sons, Patrick Texter of Parker and Michael Texter of Chicora.

The also have seven grand children and three great-grandchildren.

Texter is retired from Koppers Company, which is now Indspec Chemical Company in Petrolia.

Mrs. Texter is a homemaker.

The Texters belong to First United Methodist Church of Parker.
