Myrtle Wigton

Myrtle Wigton of Petrolia will celebrate her 100th birthday, if weather permits, from 2 to 4 p.m. March 8 at the Fairview Township Municipal Building, 1571 Hooker Road, Karns City.

The former Myrtle Watson was born March 4, 1909, in Cabot. She married Charles Wigton Nov. 28, 1934. He is deceased.

She has two children, Donald Wigton of Phoenix and Charles Wigton Jr. of Florissant, Mo. She also has 11 grandchildren, six great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Wigton is a homemaker and belongs to the Bruin United Methodist Church in Bruin.
