Janet and Chuck Hasychak

Chuck and Janet Hasychak of Butler celebrated 50 years of marriage with a dinner for family and friends Saturday at Butler Township Park.

Hasychak married the former Janet Taylor April 25, 1959, at St. Peter Roman Catholic Church in Butler.

They have four children, Rick Hasychak of Butler, Ron Hasychak of West Sunbury, Keith Hasychak of Butler and Tom Hasychak of Saegerstown.

They also have eight grandchildren.

Hasychak retired in 1997 from Armco Steel. He enjoys traveling and sports.

Mrs. Hasychak is retired from Sears and enjoys traveling and crafts.

The Hasychaks spend two months each winter in Bradenton, Fla., and belong to St. Peter Roman Catholic Church.
