Esther and Ralph Brown

Ralph and Esther Brown of Butler will celebrate 60 years of marriage with an open house from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday at Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church. The couple requests cards but no gifts.

Brown married the former Esther McCall on May 9, 1949, at Springdale Lutheran Church in West Sunbury.

They have two children, Judith Foringer of Butler and Jane Leo of Harmony. They also have four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Brown is retired from working as an operator for Perry Coal Company.

Mrs. Brown is a homemaker and belongs to Muddy Creek Cross and Crown.

The Browns are members of Muddy Creek United Presbyterian Church.
