1:56 a.m. Friday — Anthony Lenar, 60, of Oil City was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence and several summary violations following a traffic stop on Interstate 79 in Worth Township.Wednesday — Someone stole an IBM laptop computer, Vicodin medicine and an unspecified amount of cash from the residence of Angela Kerchersky at 739 Angelspur Lane in Brady Township between 2:30 and 6 a.m.3:30 a.m. May 13 — Police are investigating an attempted rape case in which Sean Robert Stivason of Cowansville allegedly assaulted a Butler County woman at a Cowansville address. Although the alleged incident occurred in Armstrong County, the alleged victim filed the complaint in Butler County. Stivason was arrested and arraigned in Armstrong County.

2:10 p.m. Thursday — A car driven by Donna Zeigler, 48, of Kittanning struck a guardrail on a wet Route 28 in South Buffalo Township. She was taken by ambulance for treatment of minor injuries.

3 p.m. Thursday — A vehicle driven by Franklin Smith, 65, of Parker struck a dirt pile off Route 66 in Paint Township before rolling onto its side. Smith was wearing a seat belt and received minor injuries. The Shippenville Volunteer Fire Department assisted at the scene.
