Mars Borough Council approved several items Monday night, including:

- Purchasing a new dump truck at a cost of $40,400 from Shorkey’s and a new dump bucket from Stephenson Equipment Inc.

- Having borough wells inspected by Moody & Associates at an estimated inspection rate of $4,500, with $2,500 for additional costs

- Insurance policies for three full-time borough employees through Kansas City Life Insurance, at a cost of $126.50 per month per employee

- An executive session was held following the meeting for personnel and real estate transaction matters.
