6:25 p.m. Thursday - Tammy McQuay, 46, of Volant was cited for retail theft after she tried to take a black purse valued at $8.99 from the Rite Aid at 118 S. Main St without paying for it.4:32 p.m. Thursday - Zachary Sawyer, 22, of Prospect was arrested on an outstanding warrant for writing bad checks. While taking Sawyer into custody police found a syringe, spoon and several empty stamp bags in his pocket. A charge of possession of drug paraphernalia has been mailed to him.Sawyer was arraigned by District Justice Sue Haggerty and is in Butler County Prison.2:45 a.m. Thursday - Richard Jones, 31, of Pittsburgh was arrested on a bench warrant from the Butler County Sheriff's Department after a traffic stop on East Cunningham Street near Cliff Street and is in Butler County Prison.11:17 a.m. Wednesday - Richard Walker, 38, of 1124 W. New Castle St. was arrested and charged with making terroristic threats against Sharon Walker, 46, of the same address. Richard Walker, who is out on bond for assaulting Sharon Walker, was arrested after he threatened to physically harm her.1:45 p.m. Tuesday - David Craig, 46, of Chicora told police a woman struck his car with her vehicle on West Jefferson Street and failed to stop. Craig described the driver as a white female between 40 and 50 years old who was wearing glasses and smoking a cigarette.

4:37 a.m. Nov. 14 - Travis Zuschlag, 20, of Greenville was charged with driving under the influence after he was stopped for failing to stop at a stop sign on Central Loop.2:06 a.m. Nov. 14 - David Airgood, 18, of West Middlesex was charged with driving under the influence after being stopped for driving the wrong way on Field House Road, a one-way street.Nov. 12 - A theft was reported from a vehicle parked in the lower stadium lot. It occurred between Nov. 10 and 12.

2:50 p.m. Thursday - A 16-year old female from West Sunbury lost control of her 1994 Honda Civic on Stewart Road in Washington Township. The vehicle struck an embankment and rolled onto its roof. The girl was wearing a seat belt.1 p.m. Thursday - Robert Thompson, 68, of West Sunbury told police someone entered his vehicle while it was left unattended in the Zanella Automotive & Mini Mart on Route 38 in Oakland Township. They then used a set of keys left in the car to start the vehicle and drive away on Route 38.4:35 p.m. Thursday - Raul Beristain-Palafox, 27, of Mexico was found to be an illegal alien after he was stopped for speeding on Interstate 80 in Findley Township, Mercer County.The Department of Immigration and Naturalization Services transported Beristain-Palafox to Lawrence County Prison. He will be taken to Pittsburgh today for processing.3 a.m. Sunday - Someone broke off both sideview mirrors and a rear windshield wiper from a vehicle parked in the Eat 'n Park restaurant in Clearview Mall in Center Township. The vehicle belongs to Northland Lincoln Mercury in Cranberry Township and is being raffled off by the restaurant. Anyone with information is asked to call the state police at 724-284-8100.1:30 a.m. Saturday - William Simmons, 37, of Chicora was arrested and charged with driving under the influence following a one-vehicle accident on Chelden Lane in Concord Township.
