Flu clinics on schedule in county in October
Flu clinics are planned in October by two agencies.
• The Pennsylvania Department of Health will offer flu shots at a walk-in flu clinic from 9 to 11 a.m. and from 1 to 3 p.m. on Oct. 13 and Oct. 19 at the Butler County State Health Center, 100 Brugh Ave, Suite 201.

• UMWA Health and Retirement Funds and Lungs at Work will offer flu shots from 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 18 at the Saxonburg VFW, 572 W. Main St., Saxonburg.
Flu vaccine is available to all coal miners and their spouses at no cost. They need to bring their health cards to the clinic site.
Black lung information will be available and breathing screenings will be given.
